South O' Border - Missionaries to Mexico
November 2006
Dear Friends in Christ,
October is the month of preparations for the annual BBF of Mexico meeting held the second week of November. We will be meeting at the Rawlings Camp south of Cuerna Vaca which is south of Mexico City.
This is one of two nation wide meetings of the BBF of Mexico in which one is designated as the pastoršs retreat. In the November meetings the pastors and churches are encouraged to be more faithful in their endeavor to do more for worldwide missions. The annual Faith Promise mission offering is also raised and new missionaries who are recommended by the Mission Committee are approved by the Fellowship body.
At each of these Fellowship meetings, we carry boxes of song books, SS material and all the materials I have printed which is available for the needs of the churches in all of Mexico. The pastors are able to get their needs for the year at a reduced price and save the freight.
During this meeting it will be revealed that our Mission Office has been moved from Juarez, Coah to Mexico City, D. F. Bro. Manuel Vargas who has pastored the Pan American Baptist Church in Juarez for over 18 years has moved to the City of Mexico to help in the Bible College there and establish the Mission Office for our growing missionary body. Please pray for this new endeavor and for Bro. Manuel. Pray for this very important meeting.
God continues to bless the churches of Northern Mexico with attendance and souls saved. The monthly Fellowship meetings of Monterrey area and the meetings of the Border area are well attended and are a blessing to those attending.
Beloved once again we are thankful for your faithfulness in prayer and monthly financial support toward our ministry. Please continue to hold us up before the throne of Grace.
